Rwanda Specialty Coffee: Musasa Mbilima

Coffee plants from Musasa Mbilima farm are grown at an altitude of more than 2,000 meters in Musasa, northwest of Rwanda. Ripe cherries are handpicked, processed on the same day, and fermented overnight to ensure the highest quality. The coffee beans are then sorted by hand in two stages: before and after drying. Finally, the coffee is cupped by Musasa and Rwashocco’s experts before qualified for export to the global Specialty Coffee market.
